The largest air carrier in Canada is the one and only Air Canada, also known as the flag carrier, based in Montreal. A few days back, Air Canada announced its newly added route, which offers travelers the option of going from Vancouver to Manila and vice versa. Through this strategic expansion, Air Canada is offering attractive fares on all the flights that are traveling on this route. When the Government of Canada's Team Canada Trade Mission was celebrating the diamond jubilee of Canada-Philippines diplomatic relations, the announcement was made.
The new flights to Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) are considered Air Canada's 3rd flight route in Southeast Asia. From April 2, 2025 these Nonstop flights will be operating 4 times weekly. Flights are operated with Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which offer three cabin categories.
The Executive Vice President at Air Canada, Mark Galardo, shares with the people by saying, "We are thrilled to add Manila to our global network with new, year-round, nonstop service from Vancouver, Air Canada's Pacific gateway hub. For people who are looking to fly to the Philippines, Air Canada is the only Canadian airline that serves its scheduled flight services. The new flight services will be the third in the past few years. It is not like Air Canada will only be serving this new route; they also have unveiled their plans for its Vancouver summer 2025 schedule in which one can find some more newly introduced international flights to US cities, including Tampa, Raleigh, and Nashville, as well as to Austin, Denver, and Miami.
