Airlines Reroute Flights Following Iran's Missile Strike on Israel

Lately, there has been an ongoing international conflict between two powerful countries, Israel and Iran, which has quite impactfully unstabilized the functioning of many of the land services and air-space corridors. So, in reference to Iran's missile strike on Israel's controversial issue, many of the international flights have been suspended, and in addition to that, they have been re-routed to other destinations.

Thus, several airlines that were going to operate in the Gulf have adjusted their routes so that they can procure the safety and security of the passengers from such a tremendous incident that took place between Iran's and Israel's missile strike.

Apart from that, the air-space corridor on Tuesday rerouted almost 80 flights operated by Emirates, British Airways, Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, Fly Dubai, and Kuwait Airways. The airlines were bound for major Middle East hubs such as Doha, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi and immediately received instructions to divert to places such as Cairo and some European cities.

Emirates Airlines also suspended all flights to and from Iraq, Iran, and Jordan on October 2nd and 3rd. According to reports, the airline is closely monitoring the activities surrounding Iran and Israel's missile strikes and will then start to resume flights on these particular routes.

Qatar Airways: Amid the rising tense situation in the Middle East, Qatar Airways has also temporarily suspended flight services to and from Iran and Israel.

Flydubai: Similarly, due to this much chaos going on within the air-space corridor, it has also shut down Flydubai all the flights that were routed to Jordan, Iraq, Iran, and Israel. So, as per the reports, Flydubai is going to monitor all the significant inputs and outputs going on for the air-space services, and then they will resume their flight services.

Kuwait Airways also stated on Tuesday that it had adjusted its flight routes for some of its services and facilities, which resulted in changes to the destination timings.

In addition to the above-mentioned airlines, various other airlines have also restricted their operations due to the existing tension between Iran and Israel. In North Africa, Egyptair stated that it suspended flights to Beirut for an indefinite period of time. Furthermore, Royal Jordanian said that flights to the Lebanese capital were not operating "due to the current situation" without providing a date for the restart.

According to the sources, Iran Air and Iraqi Airways have also suspended their flights to the Lebanese capital "until further notice." Furthermore, "Due to the continuing situation in Lebanon, Qatar Airways has temporarily terminated flights to and from Beirut Rafic  Hariri International Airport until further notice.

Bahrain's flag carrier, Gulf Air, and Qatar Airways, based in Doha, have also suspended flights due to the war conditions between Iran and Israel. According to reports, both Jordanian and Iraqi airspace are among the closed airlines in the region. Early reports on Tuesday of an Iranian ballistic missile attack on Israel have prompted many airlines to reroute their flights around one of the world's most traffic-enriched airspace sectors.
