Airport assistance, in-flight services, and crew assistance are offered to pregnant passengers who have chosen to fly with ANA. The airline earns the passengers' trust and looks after them to ensure they feel comfortable and pleased

  • Expectant mothers who are within 28 days of their due date must fill out a Medical Information Form before flying and bring it to the airport on the day of departure.
  • While traveling with ANA during your last pregnancy, you must provide the medical information form, indicating that there are no pregnancy complications, that the passenger has no health problems preventing them from flying, and the due date.
  • The medical form must be issued by a physician no more than seven days before departure to the ANA Airlines representative.
  • A physician must accompany passengers within 14 days of their due date.
  • While pregnant, if you are traveling alone with ANA, the airlines tend to offer you assistance, including an escort service. You will be escorted from the airport and dropped off at the check-in counter and the boarding gate.
  • Pregnant woman within 28 days of their due date is not being offered a seat in emergency exit rows.
  • You can change your assigned seat if there are any changes in aircraft type or for any other reason.
  • If the connecting flight will depart from a different terminal, airport staff will escort you to the terminal shuttle.

ANA rules for traveling with infants or children.

When you travel with infants or children on ANA Airlines, the airline ensures that you have a great flight and offers the best assistance. Thus, ANA is pleased to provide special assistance for families with young children.

  • The Airlines offer you with the special assistance at the airport. Thus, support is available from the check-in counter to the boarding gate for adult passengers traveling with one or more children under 3 years old.
  • Due to limited cabin space, we ask that you check in your stroller with your baggage, where the strollers are not subject to checked baggage restrictions.
  • Strollers are available at the airport. You can borrow them by asking the ANA Airlines representative.
  • If you are traveling with an infant and not using a seat, you will be charged 10% of the application adult fee.
  • If you are using a seat, the child fare is 75% of the applicable adult fare at ANA Airways. This is usually for children between 2 and 11 years old.
  •  While flying, if your child uses a child seat, they must be seated next to their companion.
  • Children under two who do not require a seat can travel by sitting on the parent or guardian's lap above the seat belt.
  • Thus, if you use a baby carrier, you are further requested to fasten your seat belt first and then put on the carrier.
  • To request baby meals, you must inform the airline 24 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight.
  • ANA does not lend child seats. Customers should bring their child seat while traveling if they require one.
  • Children are not allowed to sit in the emergency exit rows. Also, passengers traveling with an infant may not be seated in the same row as another passenger traveling with an infant due to limited oxygen mask availability.
  • At the arrival airport, staff will escort passengers from the disembarking gate to the arrival lobby or passenger pickup area after landing your ANA flight.
