Does Thai Airways business class have lounge access?

What are the policies of the Lounge Access on Thai Airways?
Royal First Lounge
- A member of the Royal First Class can bring along one guest when departing on the same day.
- A member with the boarding pass of Star Alliance First Class can bring along one guest to the lounge.
- Royal Orchid Platinum status members and one guest are allowed when having a boarding pass of any Thai International flight or Thai Smile flight.
- Passengers that are flying with staff tickets are counted as non-revenue customers and therefore are not given the Lounge Access.
Royal Silk Lounge and Royal Orchid Lounge
- No guest allowed for passengers with a Thai Royal Silk class boarding pass
- Only one guest allowed for Royal Orchid Platinum and Gold members.
- Along with a Star Alliance Gold status cardholder, one guest is allowed in the lounge when departing in the same flight.
- One guest allowed with Star Alliance Gold members if the Thai or Star Alliance flight is departing on the same day.
Royal Orchid Lounge Prestige (Bangkok International Airport)
- No guests are allowed with people having a Thai Royal Silk Class boarding pass.
- No guests allowed with passengers presenting a boarding pass of Star Alliance Business Class.
- One guest allowed with people flying on the same day with Royal Orchid Platinum and Gold members boarding passes.
- One guest allowed with Star Alliance Paid Lounge Members departing on the same day as any Star Alliance flights.
What are the other Lounge Access options available for people flying on Thai Airways?
As Thai Airways is one of the founding members of The Star Alliance, the airlines offer some other options of Lounge Access such as the Star Alliance Lounge as well as Contract Lounges. Contract Lounges are lounges which are not owned by Thai or any Star Alliance members, but are available for the comfort and best experience for passengers flying business class on Thai Airways.
STAR ALLIANCE LOUNGE ACCESS
Royal First Class
- Passengers will have to present a boarding pass for travel in Royal First Class on a Thai Flight.
- Passengers can bring one guest flying on the same day of any Star Alliance Flight.
- Passengers with Staff Tickets are considered as non revenue customers, hence not eligible to access the Lounge Services.
Royal Silk Class
- Passengers with boarding pass in Royal Silk Class on a Thai Airways flight can access the Lounge
- Passengers departing in Royal Silk Class from a local airport.
- One passenger allowed with Thai Royal Silk and Star Alliance Gold members.
Thai Royal Orchid Plus Platinum and Gold Members
- People with a boarding pass of Economy Class with Thai Airways can access the lounge.
- Passengers are eligible to bring along a single guest who is flying with any Star Alliance member.
CONTRACT LOUNGE
Royal First Class and Royal Silk Class
- Royal First Class members can bring along one guest as long as they are departing on the same Thai flight.
- Royal Silk Class travelers cannot bring a guest in the Lounge unless the guest is a Star Alliance Gold status member.
Royal Orchid Platinum, Gold status and Star Alliance Gold status
- Passengers travelling in economy with Thai Airways can access the lounge.
- Passengers can bring one guest along.
