United Airlines and their "Fantasy Flights" are giving some worthy children and their families a chance to fly to the North Pole from 13 airports around the globe. The opportunity is given to pre-selected children and their family members, who will be taken to United Airlines' temporary hub at the North Pole, which has an airport code of "JOY." They will meet with Santa and make joyful memories while exploring his hometown; the local volunteers and United Airlines employees have transformed an average-looking airport gate and maintenance hanger into a shiny, attractive place packed with twinkling lights, sparkling Christmas tree and, Of course, Santa will be there with his elves. The Employees and Volunteers will manage experience on both ground and land. For some, the plane will be in the air for a short period, and others will have fun on the ground. In either case, the flight will arrive at a customized location that resembles the North Pole. Both parties will meet Santa and his elves, and as United Airlines says, each piece of decoration is “elf-iciently" put by the volunteers and United Airlines employees.
The Fantasy Flights by United Airlines will take off from 13 airports around the globe, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Tokyo, Denver, Chicago, Cleveland, Washington-Dulles, Fort Lauderdale, Honolulu and more. On some flights, United Airlines has partnered up with Make-A-Wish to allow deserving ones to hop on the flight, and other flights are partnered up with local hospitals and trusts. The flights will departure from the mentioned airports, and here's a list of them:
